Steve Prisby (left picture, far right) forms The Bad News Blues Band at St. Anselm College. Right, Steve forms Marie and the Movers, with Marie Erwin fronting.
Shirley Lewis (left picture, center) replaces Marie. Lance McCollum (center picture, far left) replaces Shirley on vocals, the band adds two horns, and shortens its name to The Movers. Danny Vitalle (right picture, center) would replace Lance and The Movers added a third horn. The horn section was dubbed The Smoking Section. It was this incarnation of The Movers that would win the1995 International Blues Competition in Memphis, Tennessee.
Steve helped to form Rhumboogie in Concord, NH, whose run lasted 3 CDs and 6 years. And then in 2006, the birth of Kid Pinky, which was originally called Kid Pinky and his Restless Knight.
Wando (Warren Mannell, left picture, far left) replaced Jock Irvine on bass, and in the right picture standing furthest left, Rick King becomes the latest Kid Pinky member, replacing the legendary John Hoik.
